6 Week Course: Yantra Yoga The Tibetan Yoga Of Movement

Who is this course for?
This beginners Yantra yoga course is for anyone, old or young, flexible or inflexible total beginners who have never practiced yoga before to experienced yoga practitioners who have mainly learnt the physical part of yoga and lack the energy and mind aspect of yoga. It is for anyone who wants to learn one of the most ancient and authentic yoga systems, that will help us live a happier life with more vitality and mental clarity and less tension and stress.
We encourage those with significant injuries or considerable flexibility concerns to consult with us, so we can better accommodate your needs and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
What you will learn
- Complete breathing – We learn how to breathe properly.
- 9 Purification Breaths – A breathing series aimed to purify the breath and eliminate the stale prana (energy)
- Lung Sang (Purifying the Prana) – This is a series of 8 movements each movement is related to different aspect of the breath. In lung sang we learn different aspects of the breath and integrate breathing with movement. Lung sang is an extraordinary method for harmonizing the energy and coordinating the body, energy and mind.

This Yantra Yoga course is taught at the Karma Choeling Buddhist monastery located at 66 Boddhisattva Road, Waitoki
